Beth Sorrentino was singer, pianist, and main songwriter in the 1990s band Suddenly, Tammy! Since the band’s breakup in 1997, Beth has been teaching music in New York City, writing and recording new material, composing scores for children’s theater groups, and performing in clubs.
Beth recorded a new album: WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO, showcasing songs composed and shaped by legendary sunshine pop progenitor Curt Boettcher (1944-1987). (Curt who?) The album, produced by Sean Slade, was released in April 2013 on Basta.
“I’ve just had to move Dusty In Memphis to the left, and Once Upon A Summertime to the right, because Would You Like To Go is my new favorite Sunday morning record.”
